Pure Slim was founded by the current CEO James Leon in 1997 following a 3 month long visit to South Africa in 1994. Nelson Mandela had just been elected president and it was an exciting time for the whole country, econonically and culturally. Originally formed in London (England) Pure Slim Limited is now recognised as the leading distibutor of South African hoodia in both Europe and South Africa, with major expansion plans in the USA. The South African hoodia gordonii market is complicated and requires considerable patience. The historic ties between Great Britain and South Africa as well as the fact that both countries share the same time zone make this far easier.
